Rob Little Hockey

rob-stickhandling-campRob’s clinics offer a wide variety of skating instruction for beginners to advanced players. Rob Little Adult Camps will provide a fun and challenging environment for you to develop your skills.

2010 is the 18th year of providing expert instruction to adult hockey players. Our staff has worked with more than 2,500 of them and is known for teaching skills to all ability levels. We often hear that participants receive more attention and individual instruction at Rob Little Adult Hockey Camps than any camp they have attended.

While Rob Little Hockey strongly recommends that you attend all sessions of a clinic for maximum benefit, Rob will work with skaters who can only attend certain dates of a clinic. Please contact Rob Little Hockey for more details.

Rob is offering the following clinics:

Fundamental Skills Clinic

The Fundamental Skills Clinic is designed for skaters of all abilities. We will attack the many bad habits that can creep in to a player’s game and hold them back from reaching their potential. Areas of instruction include all facets of skating, stickhandling, passing and shooting. The Fundamental Skills Camp provides an expert step-by-step teaching progression of each skill.

The camp will provide inexperienced players with a solid foundation on which to build their skills. Experienced skaters will benefit from having our high-caliber coaching staff assess their skills and provide instruction that will allow for continued skill growth.

Stickhandling Possession Camp

The Stickandling Possession Camp has been revamped this summer to better serve adult hockey players. The camp will place greater emphasis on carrying the puck going forward, making speed and directional changes and backward puck-handling. We work a portion of each session on the edge work and hand skills that are basis of stickhandling.

Participants will be introduced to specific moves, setting up a defender and dekes to be used in a breakaway situation. Puck protection and body positioning are areas that participants will learn and practice under the watchful eyes of our coaching staff.

Overspeed Quickness and Agility Skating Camp

“How can I get faster?”

The most asked question in hockey.

One way a player can improve speed is by skating and practicing at a faster pace than they are accustomed. The Quickness and Agility Skating Camp is a modern interval training program done at “almost out of control” pace. If players continue to skate and play at a comfortable pace, they can’t expect to be faster--or, more importantly, play the game faster. The Quickness and Agility Camp is an “uncomfortably fast” series of skating, passing and shooting drills, with and without pucks, designed to make every participant a faster game player. This camp is not skating instruction. Its purpose is push players to a new level of speed in their play. This Quickness and Agility Camp has been full the last 11 years! Register early!
