Tip of the week:
Are you able to consistently contol the height of your shot? Do you wish your shot was more powerful and accurate?
After first checking to make sure you are gripping the stick properly, Rob’s next area of evaluation would be to see how close the puck is to your body when you release it. The closer the puck is to your body, the greater power, accuracy and control your shot will have.
Look for next week’s tip, Blade Position, to learn another component of effective shooting.
Feel free to e-mail Rob if you have questions about the Tip of the Week.
